Hvilan SFI - part of Folkhögskolan Hvilan

The Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) course is provided for people who have recently arrived in Sweden and are in possession of a residence permit. The aim is for you to have a basic knowledge of Swedish after completing the course.15 hours of teaching are provided each week. You can choose whether you want to study at home, during the day or in the evening, depending on the municipality where you live. You will also learn how Sweden works. For instance, we will be looking at topics such as ‘how does Sweden’s democracy work?’ and ‘is parental benefit available to me?’. You will receive a grade after each completed course.
